Every person should be a “go-to advisor”. A person who gives advice and builds others to be better. A mentor should be ready to facilitate others to step out of the box, complement their strength and improve their weakness. The origins of mentorship can be traced back to ancient Greece. It was meant to impart social, spiritual, and personal values to the younger generation. However today, mentorship is loosely modeled on career development strategy.
